​Brent Coon & Associates has been engaged in settlement discussions on all of our cases.  We made the initial demands for settlement and are waiting for Kuraray’s lawyers to make counter offers.  These negotiations usually go back and forth with several rounds of demand, offer, followed by counter demands and offers.  We hope to have this litigation wrapped up I the next few weeks.

Q1 2022 Update

​This litigation has had multiple cases set and prepared for trial, but not one has even started the trial. All have settled. That process is a necessary step, however, to get them settled. The pretrial preparation starts with Brent Coon & Associates client's answering written questions and requests for documentation, followed by their oral and videotaped depositions. Brent Coon & Associates is in line for trial settings which we expect the Court to assign for mid-year 2022. We are at that point and are working to provide Kuraray’s lawyers with the information they need to get these cases settled. We will contact our clients when settlement offers have been made.
