You will be receiving a set of releases/authorizations and other “paperwork” throughout the course of our representation of your claim in this matter. Please promptly sign and return any documents we send to you. We will be sending you correspondence updating you on this claim throughout the entire legal process, as well as during litigation if necessary.

As your attorneys, our role is to prepare your case and advise or make recommendations to you on what to ask for as a settlement, based on the facts, when the time comes. It is your case and, therefore, it is up to you to make the final decision on whether to settle your case. If we cannot resolve the case through informal settlement discussions with the other side, we will file a lawsuit on your behalf and proceed through the litigation process to a trial on the merits of your case. It is important to remember that it could take a number of months to get any of these cases to trial for a final resolution if we cannot get satisfactory settlements early in the litigation.
Please DO NOT communicate with other lawyers or insurance agents or adjusters – these individuals are well trained in making clients say things that may be very detrimental to your case and final recovery.
